Here's another question that will probably not get answered properly: how are the experiments even conducted? How is it possible for a group of scientists who we assume reside outside of a currently seemingly unbreakable barrier to alter someone's physical or psychological state? I should hope this question has come up before, however, just as I hope the previous questions have as well, but here we are, asking and answering as captives both old and new will.
