Attention, Region Six. A draft is scheduled to commence on August 25th for five days following. Your location will be the West Central Ocean, en route to Kano Harbour via three ships. Choose a suitable captain for each, and the pilots will be programmed to follow your orders. Don't waste my time with incompetence, either. Put in charge only those who deserve it.

These are the residents who have been selected to participate.

[As usual, the list posted HERE is offered in text form, sans the mun names.]

Your mission is to protect the cargo ship above all else. Within three days you will reach your destination. Opposition numbers, rank, and skill are impossible to predict, however, their equipment often prevents them from attacking at night. Remain on guard, but take advantage of the respite you may receive by night. Upon reaching the harbour, the cargo will be unloaded. You are to continue protecting it until it is safely out of range of their attacks. I would advise against swimming unless you want to die.

For those of you who were involved in the last draft, I have only one thing to say: your performance was acceptable.

Over and out.

[Once again, the commandant will not reply to anything but draft-related questions or particularly inspiring comments, so if you're looking for a response, be sure to give her something worth answering!]

Considering what is known? Avoid exasperating damage to the ship by using magic or techniques that may destroy its structure. Find means to protect the integrity of the ships -- magic, repellants, or distractions that will deter the enemy from focusing on destroying the boats from underneath you.

If possible, obtain flying vehicles or vehicles that can maneuver quickly in the water.

Like Rheairds...

It doesn't sound as bad as the jungle, at least. ...Not that we know that for sure.

Not yet, of course. Asking the Commandant for details will help.

I do not envy the need to choose captains amongst your group. There are several with credentials.

It's not gonna be me. [The verbal equivalent of a shrug.] Whoever gets picked better just know what they're doing.

You will have to help choose who they are. Or abstain from voting.

I don't wanna say it doesn't matter to me who gets picked to lead. [But on many levels it doesn't. She'll do what she feels is necessary, orders or no orders.]

But it's not the biggest thing on my mind.

Then you should deal with whatever is your priority. You have little time to work with.

It's not bothering you that they didn't pick you, is it?

Of course not. If shift incompatibilities are to blame, I would rather not be out there than deal with whatever is considered beneath seventy percent compatibility. [He does like living. And not being in pain.]

...If you wanna, you can open the shop while I'm gone. I won't force you though. And don't burn the place down. ...Zelos'll help you.

I suppose it will be something to keep my mind occupied. [The place would be pretty empty, with the Welcome Center pretty much deserted as well.]
