Attention, Region Six. A draft is scheduled to commence on August 25th for five days following. Your location will be the West Central Ocean, en route to Kano Harbour via three ships. Choose a suitable captain for each, and the pilots will be programmed to follow your orders. Don't waste my time with incompetence, either. Put in charge only those who deserve it.

These are the residents who have been selected to participate.

Your mission is to protect the cargo ship above all else. Within three days you will reach your destination. Opposition numbers, rank, and skill are impossible to predict, however, their equipment often prevents them from attacking at night. Remain on guard, but take advantage of the respite you may receive by night. Upon reaching the harbour, the cargo will be unloaded. You are to continue protecting it until it is safely out of range of their attacks. I would advise against swimming unless you want to die.

For those of you who were involved in the last draft, I have only one thing to say: your performance was acceptable.

That design was given me by a very fine and fancy Admiral, once, for freeing a shipload of slaves. Think you those men and women could have been saved with a battle? I was one ship. An entire fleet pursued me. I got that cargo away with a dirty trick.

How many ships do you think the Third Party will send against our Three? You want to fight them. We will if we must, but if we set out looking for your battle, Katara, then we shall all perish in flames. I never play by those sorts of odds. Find a hero to do that.

There are no slaves in Katara's world. Not yet. But she knows what they are. She knows that's what the Fire Nation would make of the world. She knows that freeing them... there was no profit, no interest in that.

There are many different kinds of heroes, Captain Jack Sparrow. And I don't think we need to go looking for any sort of fight. [They're being sent out into one, after all. If he thinks she's opposed to winning through tricks... well, it's true, they don't know each other at all.]
