[Appearing on the journals is a written message as follows. A voice option is provided for a computerized reading of the text.]

Attention Luceti Residents.

The following names are being called to participate in a strike against the cultist hordes:
[the names listed here appear on the journal.]

All subjects are required to arrive at the tunnels at 8AM on the 27th of March for deployment. All listed individuals are required to be present. Subjects will then be escorted to TERRACE for battle preparation and further details.

Target will be Region One, a former Malnosso stronghold, presently in cultist hands. Subjects are advised to prepare for combat in forested areas. Further information will be made available at TERRACE. Questions and answers will not be provided at this time.

[The Malnosso will not reply to this message, but everyone is free to use this post to discuss among themselves, whether using voice options on the journal or doing action threads.]

Relax, I can talk you through it. You'll want to meet up with everyone else at the transporters at the designated time, they'll brief us further on arrival on the situation. But since it's urban combat in a largely Malnosso-controlled area, any draftees doing logistics work behind the front lines should be plenty safe.

[No one should have to deal with someone else's war. Not the war between Aldian and the Vendeeni, and not this one between the Malnosso and the Cultists. He wanted to touch base with the people that knew more on this front for his own benefit...but, he had no intention of doing anything on the frontlines.

Not with Fayt around.]

[He smiled, more relaxed after that outburst.]

[His name. Along with Rogue's, Logan's and Storm's. And Mia. The whole team - the whole house, except for Hisako. At least he'd have company. And maybe it wouldn't be so bad.]

There goes my plans for the weekend.

[That's all he utters. No need to get at all the problems and questions nagging at him at the moment. He'd deal with it like any other problem back home. After all, he was kind of a superhero, and he had his team.]

It had come up briefly, without few references attached to it other than being one of the known Organization facilities. Even the mentioning of space research did not seem relevant until it was revealed just large the space fleet seems to be.

[She mentally thanks Shikamaru for this. He's always got a keen eye for these reports.]

Forests don't have the same density of flora and fauna as jungles, and so the blocking of sunlight and the concentration of heat won't be anywhere as severe as there.

This doesn't mean anyone should get careless. We don't know how maintained these forests are, and how many animals are out there.

I'm certain there will be a conversation concerning that once Law gets wind of this. What do you think you will be doing?

Such is the case. [It's always nice to meet people quick on the uptake.] Since we are being given time to prepare within the village, it would be best to assume they may not offer equipment on site. Rations perhaps, but anything that may be feasibly prepared while here should be done.

[He speaks over his shoulder to Frey, lowering the heat on the stove in preparation for a lighter tea.] Considering it is used for troop deployment, the storage of vehicles, and research, and we have observed that the Organization houses its researchers and soldiers in such isolated facilities, TERRACE is likely a very large facility.

[He, of course, won't have a clue who Daisy is, having come from an earlier timeline this time around.]

Daisy it is. Derek Bliss. Don't have a title myself, but I've worked with military before.

[He gets a sick lurch when he sees his name on the list for the draft. War. They want to send him to war. Send all of them to war. Something he is completely unprepared for.]

[He isn't so good at combat, but he can probably remember some of what Marie has taught him.

As luck (or fate) would have it, something turns up in the shop that day, like it's been waiting. Uniform. Something he only wears under duress. But designed for combat all the same.

He spends most of the time before the draft preparing, feeding power into threads, weaving spells half complete, just needing the touch of power to activate them.]

[He's not so sure about this all. In his storybook the ogres war sent children...again that wasn't exactly ethical either. Who sent kids to fight? But, if he could fight. He would.

He needs to reassure Richard he'd be fine. The worry in the older boy's voice is noticeable after all.]

[Help. He wants to help with-. Steve bites his lip, a mixture of emotions flickering across his face and then disappearing.]

[Jack was utterly unperturbed by whatever it was she was up to when he got outside. She could clean her own darn hands later. That wasn't his job. All the same, he gave her a once over, raised his eyebrows in mock disapproval, then gestured to her.]

This is the second time he's seen his sister's name up there, the first when they've both been allowed to go, but none of that matters. What matters is that her name is up there at all and he can't allow that. But this time he can't just tell them to take him instead. He has to think of something.]
