Greetings, Luceti. I see you've managed to open the proverbial Pandora's Box. I was wondering when that would happen.

More seriously, however- no doubt most of you have noticed the widespread issue that's resulted from that decision. Some might even recall a similar experience occurring years ago. If you're concerned about the affected residents meeting their unfortunate ends once again, well, that's unlikely. Death wouldn't be a particularly beneficial alternative to what you've unleashed this time.

However, there's still the matter of sorting out the spirits now. I'm interested in hearing what you lot have already tried when it comes to dealing with what you've unlocked, but my advice for getting the black spirit to relinquish control is to let the rest do the work for you. Last time this happened, I was able to fix it, but it's beyond my power now.

Discuss it amongst yourselves, trade your theories; I'm sure you'll come up with something. I'll help with what I can. Sooner would be better, though- I make no promises that my former comrades won't take measures to deal with you if this isn't resolved internally within a few weeks.

... when you're armed with the knowledge that there's something possessing you, it's not an experience that's often welcomed positively. No wonder our wills kept colliding.

And Nala appreciates... fairness, and wants to share that, doesn't she?

She does. We may not understand everything about her, but that's been the most obvious of any message she's conveyed.

Almost like a mediator, of sorts. She tends to her own business, but she can't avoid or ignore the building tension around her, either. Not if there's something she can do to put everyone at ease... at least, so they're not fighting or harming one another.

All I hear from Nala is... heal, heal, heal. Over and over, like nothing else matters. Heal everyone, even people who aren't hurt.

Heal them of what? Is that the message we're supposed to get?

I don't know... but with the way she gets when actually using her magic, she'd burn through all her energy just to ... ensure that they're well. Even if they're already well ... she doesn't mind what it costs her. It's ... it's so dangerous.

If there's something that could be done, with her magic ... it would take more than one person, whatever it was that she wanted to do.

That makes sense. John's already said to work together to come up with theories. There's no reason for us to work alone when we put those theories into practice.

[As much as he's normally loathe to actually cooperate with people, Nala seems to encourage the idea, and her influence is growing.]

... what really needs to be healed is the rift between the spirits. But can our energy really be used for something like that ...? Getting them to even agree to a compromise seems like it's the hurdle... but where is the wound itself?

It looks like the wounds are more emotional than anything else.

That's why she needs us. But for something that could have gone on for this long, with all of the involved parties being stubborn...

Well...spirits live longer than us, right? Perhaps that means they don't view something going on this long as something...well, that long.

It was long enough for the spirit to have been locked away for a considerable time, and for the sides involved to be particularly against the notion of cooperation.

...I just wish I knew a way that could help.

You're not the only one. Hopefully the more we discuss, the more plausible solutions will come to us.

Until we know why the dark spirit was locked away, we might never be able to fully understand what caused that rift.

For now, just the promise of cooperation might have to be enough.

Hyt and Twila themselves seem to be the hardest to sway on the matter. If more of the others could be gotten on board...

We can't solve their problems, but they can't possess us indefinitely, either.

No, they can't. From the sound of John's message, the Malnosso won't allow it.

Which means we have a lot of work to do in a short period of time. I'm sure it'll go faster once we get a plan together. Or several.
