Greetings, Luceti. I see you've managed to open the proverbial Pandora's Box. I was wondering when that would happen.

More seriously, however- no doubt most of you have noticed the widespread issue that's resulted from that decision. Some might even recall a similar experience occurring years ago. If you're concerned about the affected residents meeting their unfortunate ends once again, well, that's unlikely. Death wouldn't be a particularly beneficial alternative to what you've unleashed this time.

However, there's still the matter of sorting out the spirits now. I'm interested in hearing what you lot have already tried when it comes to dealing with what you've unlocked, but my advice for getting the black spirit to relinquish control is to let the rest do the work for you. Last time this happened, I was able to fix it, but it's beyond my power now.

Discuss it amongst yourselves, trade your theories; I'm sure you'll come up with something. I'll help with what I can. Sooner would be better, though- I make no promises that my former comrades won't take measures to deal with you if this isn't resolved internally within a few weeks.

( Why she's getting so defensive over the prince is beyond her understanding. She simply chalks it up to spirit shenanigans and will until these bothers leave. ) You think any one of those people that fought over him and caused that mess would bother to try and help the prince.

( She wants to point out that sounds dumb but remembers what's on her back. What prompted this conversation in the first place. Wisely decides to not do that. )

( Addie is a lot of things. Slow may possibly one of them, compared to a lot of others but she can catch up pretty quick.

( That sounds lame. Even to her. Maybe he's just this dispassionate if something does not catch his attention. Not everything, or everyone, she'll meet here will be magical one way or another.

Waving a hand all of the sudden, she gives off a flustered laugh. )

Ah! Disregard what I just said there, my dear. My imagination has been running wild since coming here.

[His response is quick and quiet but affirmative. A simple confirmation.]

( Her expression could be considered priceless. If flies tried to drift into her open mouth now, they could perhaps get all the way to her stomach with how wide she lets it hang for a few seconds.

Then she composes herself, reminds herself she's a lady and he probably thinks she's weird thanks to her bugged out stare at his answer. )

I-- That is-- ( Trying to find a word that could reflect her feelings at the moment. ) Extraordinary. It also explains a few things if you do not mind that. You seem so calm and aloof to an extent that one does wonder.

{ A purposely overdramatic 'le sigh' at this moment. }

Does it not bother you that you do not -- How does one say it in English and not be accused of being tactless? Experience life. { Because much as Addie closes off her own feelings, the woman grudgingly admits that she couldn't imagine not being able to feel. Not like she'll ever admit that or something. }

[He pauses and takes in her words, but he can't fully process what they mean.]

I mean, my dear, do you recall exactly why the experience was so significant for you? Why it stood out so much that you remember them? { Addie herself can recall a few or so at the top of her head if she wants. They just happen to clash with the image she was presenting in this place at the moment. } Can you vividly describe them, share to others your time in that very second? It is what I am trying to say.

Perhaps I am not making myself clear. I do apologize for that. It isn't everyday where I am from for a situation like this to present itself.

I don't know. I don't remember much about my experiences. When I've... had parts of my heart. But... those experiences are still there.

{ She looks considerably softer at that answer. Younger. Perhaps able to relate to what he said to a certain extent? Who knows. It at least struck yet again a chord of sympathy in her. A quiet sigh, a hand running through her hair. }
