On the morning of the 13th, will the previously listed individuals please report to the tunnel system. Upon entrance, turn westward. There will be a room with a round, silver platform. Stand on it to be transported to your quarters. Clothing and essentials are unnecessary, however any chosen weapons must be on your person. Should you forget them, we shall provide you with suitable replicas.
At 0800 hours the following day you will be transported to the battlefield via a location Shift. Please be ready.
The chosen battlefield is as follows:

A metropolis established roughly fifty years ago. 21st century Earth-like in appearance, roughly 210 square miles (338 km2). Due to the nature of its previous inhabitants, it is constantly engulfed in night and starlight according to the parameters set within the barrier. It remains contained.
All civilians have been evacuated or taken captive by the enemy. City is currently occupied by C-class enemies, approximately 200 in number. Humaniod in appearance with large white wings; capable of various forms of armed combat. Non-magical. Capable of inorganic Shifts; the ability to alter non-organic surroundings at will. This includes stone, metal, glass, soil and air. Extreme caution is advised.
You will remain in the city until all enemy forces are eliminated. Estimated time is roughly one week. Should you be at risk for capture, we will have no choice but to kill you via Shift. Should you be recovered, you will be relocated to your quarters the following day. Should you tire during battle, call for assistance via journal and we will transport you safely to your quarters to rest.
All powers will be restored for battle, save any technique that draws in foreign beings or souls.
Should you have any specific requests regarding your housing or weapons/vehicles required for battle, please present them now, along with further questions or objections. Please keep all inquiries to the topic of the battle at hand. Irrelevant discussion will be ignored.

WHILE CHARACTERS ARE OUT they cannot meet with characters still in the village, but can action post all they want with those in the dormitory/on the battlefield. Additionally, they can bring their journals and still speak with people in the village while they're away.
If your character objects to being drafted, regardless of the IC response here a droid will come to commandeer them the night of the 13th and will forcefully drag them onto the platform, where they'll be transported.
IF I DON'T RECIEVE AN IC RESPONSE FROM YOUR CHARACTER, their name will be stripped from the draft and their participation will be retconned. (If your character is kidnapped, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.) If you are using this draft for hiatus purposes, all I require is just a single comment with an “I’ll be there” or “No way” response, and we can work things out later. This is just so that nobody is unaware of what’s happening to their character. Please keep that in mind.]]

Okay. For Jaffar, a new pair of Killing Edges would be good. If you can really find them... There was a tome that... [...] Sonia used. It's called Fimbultvr, and it possesses the power of blizzards. It's the most powerful tome that I know of, and I think I can use it if you let me read it for a day or two before we have to go. If the terrain is big, two Boltings would be good, too; they'll let me hit far. I've never handled one before myself, though, so if I can have it in advance too, I'll study hard and make sure that it'll work! [That should take care of firepower. Her Elfire still had a good amount of uses left, and her spare Thunder was in their room. As for support...] It's also thanks to you that I can use staves now, so may I have a Mend or Heal staff too, please? Either one should be fine. That, and Vulneraries and Elixirs. The latter is better, but they were expensive on Elibe. Whichever one that will be easier for you to get, sir, and three would be good, if you can.
