Approximately three hours ago, the experimental enclosure known as Kin’cora, located in Region Six, was attacked by a cultist army led by the entity known as The General. His forces breached the barrier and began their invasion. Malnosso Security Forces responded in turn and decimated his forces. Just under half of the enclosure's population was killed or taken for sacrifice before the situation was resolved.

By order of the Commandant, the enclosure designated as Luceti has been approved as a temporary refuge for displaced subjects of the Kin’cora experiment. In approximately six hours, subjects will begin to arrive. They will remain there until such a time as they can be moved to more permanent accommodations. Note, the Kin’cora journal system will be deactivated while within the Luceti enclosure.

Cultist activity continues to be high in Region Six. Expect additional supplies to be limited until situation is resolved. Emergency rations will be routed to the enclosure as they become available. Subjects are urged to use current provisions wisely and to cooperate with displaced refugees. For safety purposes the Shift limiting superhuman abilities will be reduced to ten percent. No further details will be made available at this time.

I don't know, do you think that's the best idea? It's just - with the powers cut down, everyone's healing will be cut down too. And a lot of people have a hard time fighting without their powers.

The less weapons out there, the better. Right? We shouldn't be fighting each other. Not during this. We just need to ask people to watch the smithy. I can't stay there all the time if I'm going to be busy fishing. Especially if there's no teleporters.

I don't know. Normally I'd suggest Appa, but I don't know if he'll be able to fly like this. The easiest route is... well, the tunnels.

[But they'll want to get a horse and cart down there somehow. Not exactly easy.]

Would it be better to just go for the lakes instead?

The lakes are low due to the drought. We have the Anna Aurion out on one of the lakes, but I don't know that we'll be able to catch as much there as in the ocean.

[There's also that conservative part there. They could risk depleting the lake of fish. But the ocean would be in less risk of over fishing. It was just a matter of volume.]

[Fortunately, someone woke Katara up for this, but even so she got to the message a bit later than those early risers. She rubs her forehead a moment.]

Right. How much more time do we have? If I go with you, or we send another waterbender, do you think we have time to catch a whole bunch and bring it back before this starts? I'm already working on coordinating a butchery.

Katara, the tunnels are a sixty mile walk. With Appa out of the picture and without the teleporters, we'll be lucky to get there by tonight.

[This is not an immediate solution. But they have enough food now to feed people. It's the days after that they need to think about.]

Even if the teleporters are down, if we act before it starts, we could still use Appa!

If you need wing power, I could probably cart a few things around. Plus, I'm fast. Even if they cut everyone's power down, it'd probably help to have some speed on our side.

Speed is good, but can you carry it? Scientifically speaking, I'm not sure your wingspan is enough to carry your own weight-- no offense, much less a bunch of fish. Without special uh, pony powers, are you sure you'll be able to carry a lot?

[But even then. Every little bit helps. So this isn't Sokka turning her down.]

Flight's not exactly a special power for pegasus ponies. If they do weaken us, it'll probably just do a number on my speed and probably make it harder to stand on clouds.

I've carried heavy loads before, so how bad can it be?

Standing on clouds is a special power! They lack the density to support any kind of weight! [Okay, no, can't argue. Just needs to focus.] ... anyway. If you can do that, it would help. We may need to move most of it through the tunnels anyway, but that may help speed things up.

I could take Toothless out there. It wouldn't take us long to get out to the ocean and back with some fish. We can help guard the smithy, too.

Toothless would be good. I've got a um, pony, who wants to help too. Between the two of them, we could get stuff moving quicker. How much do you think Toothless can carry?
