[Voice, Locked to Residents]
[At approximately 4AM in the morning of the 25th, the journals will suddenly blare with the sound of an alarm, followed quickly by this message:]
Attention, Region Six. This is an emergency. The following occupants are required to report to the teleporters in one hour to act as a reserve force for an unscheduled battle located in Region Eleven, designation Vaskoth.
[A list of names is posted.]
Those who refuse will be forcibly dragged, and we take no responsibility for any injuries obtained should that happen. Anyone not summoned will not be accepted, either as additional forces or as replacements for someone else. Weaponry and equipment not native to this world is incompatible with the nature of your location, and will therefore not be permitted. Suitable replacements may be available to you at your destination. You will rendezvous with Specialist Davis upon arrival, and he will direct you from there.
I repeat, you have one hour. Don't waste your preparation time with pointless questions. Get moving.
[ooc: as stated, the commandant won't answer willy-nilly, so this post can be used for draft prep if you want! Also the full draft details a HERE, for anyone who missed it!]

[Action]
He's awake quickly, grabbing the journal to see what the hell is actually going on, and groans softly at the sight before pulling himself out of bed.
He hates having to leave his bow behind, but pulls on his combat gear and packs a few other bits of clothing into his duffle before heading into the kitchen for a caffeine fix and some food before he heads out, as well as packing a couple of boxes of snacks bars and a canteen of water into his bag as well. Force of habit.]
[Action]
Clint will get a mumbled greeting that almost resembles human speech (something along the lines of "g'morning, hi, draft time") while he beelines for the coffee.]
[Action]
Poor Kid.]
You two take care of yerselves out there.
[Action] Lets make this a Fantastic Threadjack.
Yea, you guys look out for each other. Especially Loki, alright? He's...twelve.
[Action] I'll go for an Avenging Threadjack myself
We will. [It's almost mumbled, and with that, and a forceful shake of his head, all signs of exhaustion are gone and he looks as if he got a full night's sleep. Oh, the joys of being a shape shifter.]
[Action] Avengers Assemble!
Morning. And yeah, we will.
[If he's surprised by Teddy's appearance, he doesn't show it beyond a flicker of surprise because hell it's early and they're going to war.]
[Action] /sits in the "On Both Teams" corner
We can handle it... we'll be okay.
[All of us.]
[Action]
Been through worse and come out swing'n.
[A beat and Ben looks back over his shoulder.]
Anyone wok'n Fun-size up yet?
Re: [Action]
[Sue's voice was tinged with worry, honestly. There wasn't anything worse than this, really. Not being able to help beyond this? That just...didn't sit well with her. She turned around and tossed Teddy and Clint small buttons. Fantastic Four panic buttons, linked to each other. She gave Billy a second one.]
You boys take these. Billy, give the extra to your brother. You'll need them more than us.
[Action]
Thankfully, by the time Sue tosses the button, Teddy's already done with his mug and set it aside. So he catches the button easily, turning it over with his thumb and -
Well, he tries not to break down into fanboy glee. Instead, he carefully controls it and merely widens his eyes, the grip on Billy's hand tightening a little.
I FINALLY GOT ONE.]
... Thanks. These will come in handy.
[Maaaaan wouldn't it be cool if the Young Avengers had panic buttons?]
[Action]
He loathes the Malnosso for sending kids into war.
He catches the button that's sent his way, peering at it curiously and gives Sue a grateful smile before sliding it into the small pocket of his suit for safekeeping.]
Thanks Sue. Both of you.
[And now he was going to sound like someone's mother but it needed to be said.]
You taking extra clothes? You'll need something more than...
[He waves absently at what they're already wearing which, while it might work for battle, probably won't work for staying warm in the middle of the night.]
Something warm.
