[At approximately 4AM in the morning of the 25th, the journals will suddenly blare with the sound of an alarm, followed quickly by this message:]

Attention, Region Six. This is an emergency. The following occupants are required to report to the teleporters in one hour to act as a reserve force for an unscheduled battle located in Region Eleven, designation Vaskoth.

[A list of names is posted.]

Those who refuse will be forcibly dragged, and we take no responsibility for any injuries obtained should that happen. Anyone not summoned will not be accepted, either as additional forces or as replacements for someone else. Weaponry and equipment not native to this world is incompatible with the nature of your location, and will therefore not be permitted. Suitable replacements may be available to you at your destination. You will rendezvous with Specialist Davis upon arrival, and he will direct you from there.

I repeat, you have one hour. Don't waste your preparation time with pointless questions. Get moving.

This place has a view! … which is understandable, given they’re near a cliff. But it’s a pretty view, with Luceti in the distance, lights glowing warmly. … a little fog rolling in.

Law gets only a few moments to catch his breath before something black collides with him and the air is filled with squeaking, and…]

One navigator delivered as promised – and in less than three minutes to boot! Right in your living room one of your pirate goddesses of war appears, flanked by Law, and surrounded by her furious horde of…

… okay, THOSE weren’t supposed to come along for the ride, but they will do their mistress’s bidding all the same. In other words, screech through the house, waking anyone who managed to sleep through the alarm (UP LAZYBONES >E), dodge Pumpkin, and try their luck in settling in Robin’s room. Because of course, she’s always wanted her very own belfry.]

Good morning.

[DID YOU MISS US?]

[Oh...yeah. Hi, guys. Just in case the screeching of bats doesn't give it away, have some screeching from a navigator desperately trying to get bats out of her hair.]

[?!?

Shit. He only has the one sword but count on Zoro to push past Vivi and take a huge leap off the side of the stairs. He'll have Wadou out and ready faster than you can say-- Good morning?

Oh.] Tch. [It's just you guys.]

[Um, RUDE, Zoro. Vivi's right behind him, though. She doesn't make the same leap he does, but she pelts downstairs as quickly as possible--only to have a few tiny black bats go whooshing by her as she rounds the corner. What in the world...]

[But from here she can see that despite Nami's shrill screams, no one seems to be hurt or headed that way. There are just...bats. So many bats. And even a few large spiders that scurry across the carpet for good measure.]

...wh-what happened? Where did all of these come from?

This... mmmph!!!...

[Hang on. Bat trying to imitate a facehugger. PRYING.]

This... [Trying this again.] ... is what happens when something suddenly interferes with me warping between two places. It or rather they, in this case, can get drawn along with the travellers.

[Now it's trying to steal his hat. LET GO YOU. >E]

[Nami stops screeching abruptly at the sight of Zoro, more out of surprise than anything else, but she flinches and does an amusing sort of side shuffle across the carpet to avoid that one last spider that scurries off in the direction of the kitchen. WELL, WHATEVER. Sanji can deal with it later, maybe.]

H-hi, guys. I see I don't have to worry about small children getting underfoot on the draft. [This is her version of welcome back, Zoro. She reaches out with a piece of her climatact to attempt dislodging the bat from Law's hat. Thunk. Get off, you.]

[There's a bat chilling on Zoro's head now but he sees no reason to dislodge it. As long as it plays nice. He thinks to ask the two new arrivals where they've been but something about Nami's statement makes him turn to her and ask instead:] Where are my swords?

[Important things, first.]

[Warping? That must be Law's Devil Fruit power, then. Vivi hadn't know what it was, or indeed, even if he had one. She shoos away another bat who seems intent on circling her head, perhaps scoping it out as a potential nest, and makes it the rest of the way down the stairs to the living room.]

Ah. [She shakes her head at Zoro's question.] I'm not sure. Nami-san?

[With less than an hour before they have to leave, Nami doesn't tease. Besides, she's just glad he'll be able to defend ~~her~~ himself.]

My room, map desk drawer. [She cleared it out so they could fit comfortably. But she's not going to apologise for taking them. He can probably guess why she did.]

[The bat flies off squealing after that thunk. FINE THEN. D| I'll find people that want me! Like your skeleton!]

I'm going to need to get going pretty quickly. [He hefts the box] I have to see this safe and then see the medics going on the draft are properly supplied.

[He acknowledges Nami's answer with a deep "hmm". Hope you weren't looking for a warm goodbye, Law, because a quick look and a nod are all you're getting from Zoro.

Off he goes, bat and all, flying right back up the stairs to go get his swords from Nami's room... Give him a few seconds to come trudging back down, brow knit together in confusion.] Er-- [Directions please. >_>]

Goodbye, Law-san. Thank you for seeing Nami-san home. [Not to mention the new colony of bats and cluster of spiders.]

[At first it doesn't strike Vivi as particularly odd when Zoro heads back upstairs, obviously going back to his room, though she would have expected him to retrieve his swords first.]

[It's only when he returns, looking perplexed, that she understands. And really, Zoro? Really? Vivi gives a small, resigned sigh.] This way. [She stands behind him, placing her hands on his shoulders and steers him in the direction of Nami's room--first floor for the girls, remember?]

[Zoro's lack of direction gets a faint snrk and a facepalm, but Nami says nothing-- just lets Vivi steer him roomward, before turning back to Law.]

Yeah. Thanks, again. [She lifts her chin slightly, indicating the box.] What will you do?

When everyone is back, I'll make an announcement [Obviously on the locked system, by the inflection in his voice.] about our discovery. Till then I'm going to keep this quiet.

If I'm gone when everyone gets back... [gone home, kidnapped, whatever] ask Uchiha Itachi where I've put it. He'll know.

[Zoro lets Vivi steer him over to the right room. He has half an ear on Nami and Law, but even his powers of concentration can't keep his thoughts from drifting back to his swords.

He heads straight for Nami's desk drawer and pulls them out, one in each hand. They look perfectly fine, which makes him breathe a little easier. The rest of the world swims back into focus and he looks up at Vivi with a little grin.] Are they still talking out there?

Mm. [From where she's paused near the door, Vivi nods. She's been paying more attention to the conversation in the living room once she made certain Zoro was capable of finding his way to the desk. Seeing he has them in hand, she heads back out to where the two are still talking, unsure if Zoro will remember or know what the current topic of discussion is. And while the conversation has been vague, she feels fairly confident of one thing:] So you did find it?

[She looks to Nami for confirmation.]

[That breaks her serious line of thought, and Nami breaks into a smile.] Right before the alarm. Best timing, don't you think?

[Just don't ask why they were sailing at 3 in the morning >_> She gives Law a nod-- sounds like a plan.] I'm fairly sure that's one of the keys to the door, but you can check while you're down there to be certain. Now all we need to do is find the other one.

[But that's for another day.]

I will. Hopefully they didn't plant any decoy keys.

... hah, yes. That's going to be a fun hunt. [Although he doesn't mind. It's productive.] At least we know which areas to cross off from the search,

[Zoro follows Vivi out into the living room, stopping to lean up against the stairs. His new headpiece gives a small squeak protesting all the moving around, but Zoro opts to stay silent. He'll ask his questions later.]
