[Voice, Locked to Residents]
[At approximately 4AM in the morning of the 25th, the journals will suddenly blare with the sound of an alarm, followed quickly by this message:]
Attention, Region Six. This is an emergency. The following occupants are required to report to the teleporters in one hour to act as a reserve force for an unscheduled battle located in Region Eleven, designation Vaskoth.
[A list of names is posted.]
Those who refuse will be forcibly dragged, and we take no responsibility for any injuries obtained should that happen. Anyone not summoned will not be accepted, either as additional forces or as replacements for someone else. Weaponry and equipment not native to this world is incompatible with the nature of your location, and will therefore not be permitted. Suitable replacements may be available to you at your destination. You will rendezvous with Specialist Davis upon arrival, and he will direct you from there.
I repeat, you have one hour. Don't waste your preparation time with pointless questions. Get moving.
[ooc: as stated, the commandant won't answer willy-nilly, so this post can be used for draft prep if you want! Also the full draft details a HERE, for anyone who missed it!]

Do you still have that dagger I gave you for your birthday?
[Action]
...Yeah, I still have it. You really think I should bring that?
[Action]
... then again, I'm not sure whether it was made in this world or not. It may not be allowed.

[He frowns. The announcement had said that replacement weapons would be made available when they arrived, but... he's not sure he trusts that. He at least can handle himself with magic alone.]
They said they would allow us access to weapons when we reached our destination, but I'm not sure how much faith I put in that.

[Not when they'll just come back in a week, after all. Bitter? Perhaps he is. It's not as if they have a choice in the drafts anyway.]
[Action]
What's the punishment for not going, anyway? Or will we just be ported there?
[Action]
[He sighs.]
There's no escaping it, as much as I wish there were.

[And as if his body seems intent on proving that point, he finds himself having to stifle a yawn as soon as he finishes speaking.]
[Action]
Maybe if we're lucky it won't be that long of a draft.
[Action]
[Action]
Either we're getting out of that by doing this, or this IS their Halloween plans.
[Action]
It seems a bit too urgent to be anything planned out. I don't recall them ever summoning people for a draft in the middle of the night before. They usually give a least a day's warning first, or at least they did the last time I was called.

[He's scared, big time. And he's not going to admit it.]
[Action]
[And then, with a little smile, he reaches out to give Isamu's shoulder a squeeze.]
Either way, you don't need to worry. I won't let anything happen to you.
[Action]
Still, it gets a small smile out of Isamu.]
Don't make promises like that. You never know if I might go on my own little rampage.
