[Appearing on the journals is a written message as follows. A voice option is provided for a computerized reading of the text.]

Attention Luceti Residents.

The following names are being called to participate in a strike against the cultist hordes:
[the names listed here appear on the journal.]

All subjects are required to arrive at the tunnels at 8AM on the 27th of March for deployment. All listed individuals are required to be present. Subjects will then be escorted to TERRACE for battle preparation and further details.

Target will be Region One, a former Malnosso stronghold, presently in cultist hands. Subjects are advised to prepare for combat in forested areas. Further information will be made available at TERRACE. Questions and answers will not be provided at this time.

[The Malnosso will not reply to this message, but everyone is free to use this post to discuss among themselves, whether using voice options on the journal or doing action threads.]

He did not seem to realize there were far better uses for his tongue than being so disparaging.

I don't know if I should be mortified on his behalf or grateful to you for being so kind as to suggest it.

I would suggest annoyed on your own behalf that he did not take me up on my generous offer. :)

We shall have to discuss this when he returns from whatever experiment the Malnosso are poking about with him.

I think if he's at all receptive to the idea, we will have to assume the experiment has done terrible things to his poor brain.

It had been horrible, even without casualties, and that was just one incident. The idea of war, of endless battles and bloodshed and being caught in the middle of it, was overwhelming.

If she was a fully-realized Avatar, maybe she wouldn't feel like this. But she wasn't, and she had to go into this as she was. ]

I didn't say I was giving 'em any points. Just saying to keep an open mind. These 'cultists' want something so, like you said, it's gotta be big. But, things like this are never cut and dry.

[He stops talking for a bit, just staring at Sokka, trying to put a finger on something that seems so thoroughly...wrong with that statement.

Them harming themselves will lead to complications on the battlefield - or tire the medics out too quickly before the war even begins.

I hear you there. Just by this I'm guessing the Malnosso and the cultists don't get along, though I wonder if the cultists are part of these dream people I've heard about too. And what are they a 'cult' of anyways?

Not that I particularly want to take sides or anything, not that we have a choice now for the moment.

But any information at this point is better than none, right?

Heh. [He chuckled.] Like I said, it's nothing too special compared to most places. The weather ain't this unstable, for sure, but I doubt most people here would be happy with a long vacation there.

Well. Most Earthlings...but that's most of the people 'round here, isn't it?

[He reaches in to hug her.]

I believe you. Stay close to Katara and Sokka - Bolin, too. They'll look out for you. And maybe they'll need you, too. [Not just in terms of strength. In terms of being a reminder, of relative innocence. To help them to heold back.]

[Itachi's memory of that time generally focused around how it had affected his lover and his brother. The latter had nearly died from the illness he'd picked up while there.

I believe that the troubles are only going to build from this point, and all worries are valid. We should make plans for the worst and just hope we don't have to put them all into play.

We have yet to rise above the position of pawns.

This is going to be a rough one, I hate to say. The Malnosso are being very ambitious this time. [He shakes his head.] An entire region? We could be out there for a long time. And that's the least of it.

Listen to some of these other conversations on here, kid. If info's what you're after. Some of these guys really know how to keep it clear and concise.

[That particularly long message about the possible enemies he would take note of for later, and the fragmented details on the location were quite interesting. He hated walking in blind, and he would find a way to put the info to use somehow.]

...what's this about 'dream people' anyway? You talking about some of those shift-whatevers that I've heard about?

[Possibly, but she'd rather not see anyone who was young and in combat if they didn't wish to be.]

I'm more concerned with what TERRACE is and how it is we'll be using that as a point of attack for a region. And...well. Should that illness pop up again we do have the cure Mordin left.

[If they were fortunate, they won't need it.]

It's not like you can't race or annoy your friends.

I'm not gonna annoy anyone. Ooh, but I'm totally gonna beat my record by the time ya get back! Maybe I can get people to race with me!!
