Attention Luceti Residents.

The following names are being called to participate in a strike against the cultist hordes:

All subjects are required to arrive at the tunnels at 8AM on the 27th of March for deployment. All listed individuals are required to be present. Subjects will then be escorted to TERRACE for battle preparation and further details.

Target will be Region One, a former Malnosso stronghold, presently in cultist hands. Subjects are advised to prepare for combat in forested areas. Further information will be made available at TERRACE. Questions and answers will not be provided at this time.

[The Malnosso will not reply to this message, but everyone is free to use this post to discuss among themselves, whether using voice options on the journal or doing action threads.]

Certainly. Please fill another kettle and put it on the stove. [Even if customers happened to leave after the announcement, Albert would really not be against partaking in the tea himself. Right now, there would be chaos and scrambling amongst the New Feathers until the initial emotions ran their course.]

It's a facility that the Organization maintains that seems to be airborne; I am not privy to how, though. As somewhat expected, it houses aerial vehicles and the personnel needed for their maintenance and usage. It's an observatory for the surrounding area and used for conducting space travel research.

[Unlike how he had spoken over the journals, he speaks now with more certainty. ANI had reported the information, after all.]

Of course. [Frey honestly would not be himself-- a bit of tea before going home to the usual rush of activity before the draft would be nice. He would need to do his usually check-ins, but they thankfully had time for that this time around. He walks over to where they keep the kettles, picking one up to begin filling with water.]


An airborne base....? That is quite the feat. [Tactically, he can see why it would be incredibly useful, though. Vantage, maneuverability and observation were all great benefits of air travel.] Will we be transported to our destination by these vehicles, do you think?

It is quite likely. [He speaks over his shoulder to Frey, lowering the heat on the stove in preparation for a lighter tea.] Considering it is used for troop deployment, the storage of vehicles, and research, and we have observed that the Organization houses its researchers and soldiers in such isolated facilities, TERRACE is likely a very large facility.

[Frey fills the kettle as he mulls over the information. It certainly sounded large.... but that just made it all the more difficult to imagine. How did such a structure stay afloat?]

I must admit I am somewhat eager to see it, even if we will be there for such a serious reason as battle preparations.

[Finishing filling the kettle, he shuts off the water and carries the filled container over, offering it to Albert.]

[Albert takes the kettle from Frey with a nod, setting it on the stove before turning his attention fully to Frey.]

It should be an interesting sight to take in. And any opportunity to the full breadth of the Organization's work should be taken advantage of, in our situation.

Of course. A base such as that should have a great deal of things to see, with such advanced technology. [He leans back against one of the counters slightly, looking Albert in the eye.]

Hopefully we will be able to take as much in as we can before we depart from it.

Indeed. We will at least see a few areas containing flying crafts, if that is the method they intend to use to shuttle us to and from the base.

It should be an interesting experience, if we are to ride them. If they have windows we might get quite a view.... [If clouds were not in the way, of course. He shakes his head at the offer politely.] I think what I have right now shall do.... we've been practicing with these elements for a while, after all.

[He nods, turning slightly back to the stove to check on the water before looking at Frey again.] I will be sure to have a Thunder rune on hand, should we find ourselves working together out there.

I am interested in knowing if there are others from our world here as well, so I will be keeping an eye out for anyone who may have connection to places I know.

Alright. I shall keep that in mind, as well. [What they had been working on might be potentially useful, in a tight situation. He thinks for a moment, wondering.]

I would also like to know that, myself. I know there were some Falenans among the Kin’corans, but I do not know if we will see them there.

It will be difficult to gather information about others' home worlds once we are deployed and sent out onto the battlefield, but it is at least something to keep in mind. [But he didn't have to pursue that topic too far with Frey; he was sure the prince appreciated any ties to their home world as much as he did.]

...I doubt we will be having customers for much longer, but we should at least finish these orders while they are still here. [He looks towards the kitchen exit.]
