Attention Luceti Residents.

The following names are being called to participate in a strike against the cultist hordes:
[the names listed here appear on the journal.]

All subjects are required to arrive at the tunnels at 8AM on the 27th of March for deployment. All listed individuals are required to be present. Subjects will then be escorted to TERRACE for battle preparation and further details.

Target will be Region One, a former Malnosso stronghold, presently in cultist hands. Subjects are advised to prepare for combat in forested areas. Further information will be made available at TERRACE. Questions and answers will not be provided at this time.

[The Malnosso will not reply to this message, but everyone is free to use this post to discuss among themselves, whether using voice options on the journal or doing action threads.]

Attention! All members of my SOS-Brigade, be sure to bring your badges out there. You can come to the HQ for extra badges, and be sure to distribute them to people who can live up to the Brigade's ideals while you're out there. Fruthermore, report to the HQ to receive Reverse Dolls sometime in the next few days! Leon, if you don't already have some of those, make more!

[...Dammit why doesn't she have any worthwhile enchantments for this sort situation? At best, she can make gimmicks, nothing which she can assure wouldb e useful in battle or outside of this barrier. But she can hope, and she can organize.

Also because two of her own house (Rhyme and Beat) are going, she has more of the same for them.]

[At the house, Haruhi will likely hear Beat upstairs as he tries to work out his anger at Rhyme being pulled into this situation by throwing his pillow before heading downstairs. Rather than slide down the rail like usual, he thumps down the stairs, heading for the front door.]

Hold it! I've got something for you. [She's in the kitchen now, getting herself some juice, and with a bag under her arm. Leon has something to make in the period before the mission starts, and there's enough to give one to both Rhyme and Beat. ~~screw timelines it works out~~ so she'll just march on over to get to him]

[He's almost got the door thrown open when he hears her call out. Even if he isn't in the mood to go getting presents, it'd be rude to just ignore her and Haruhi's a friend. Beat grits his teeth and shuts the door with a little more force than necessary,turning around.]

What? I'm sorry, Ribbons, but I ain't in no mood for celebratin' nothin'.

Who's celebrating, moron. Just get over here.

[And she waves him over towards her. That said, she also doesn't stop with the walking over to him. And once she's right up close enough to him to hand something off, she pulls out something which looks like a voodoo doll out of her bag and shoves it into her hand]

[He isn't a moron...!!!! Beat stomps over, ready to tell her as much when she shoves a doll into his hand.

And it just stops all his thought processes. He stares at the doll, then back at Haruhi.]

....what? You wanna play dolls now?

[And then with seriousness in her tone, she hands him a second one. For Rhyme]

They're called Reverse Dolls. If you get hit by something which'll kill you, if you have the doll on you it'll break instead and you'll survive. It only works once though.

[He stares at the dolls in his hands now with a better appreciation of them. He'll give them to Rhyme because he doesn't care if he dies, but she has to come back - no matter what. The whole "it only works one" thing doesn't quite sink in that it'll only work once per person regardless of the number of dolls they have.]

No, Leon does. [And she smiles a little now, just a bit. To try to be reassuring. It isn't working that much] He's a skilled alchemist, so I have him make things like this.

[He looks at the dolls again, closing his fists around them.]

Yeah, he's a proud member of my SOS-Brigade. [ :T ] Don't worry, just make use of them.

[He takes the dolls and puts them in his pocket to give to Rhyme later.]

An' we will. I'll make sure she comes back safe.

Good, that's something that I'll be expecting from you guys.

[He nods and raises a fist.]

Count on it! I ain't comin' back wit'out her.

Miss Haruhi, could I ask you to attend the meeting at the Dome at three? We could use your organizational talents to co-ordinate relief for the draftees when they return from the field.

[Food, hot drinks, getting the injured to the clinics... basically, taking care of the aftermath.]

[... Wait reall-y of course really. She nods to herself and tries to hide her surprise at the fact she's been invited]

Yeah, of course. I'll be there.
