[Voice, locked to residents] --EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--

[At 2:15AM, the journals suddenly blare out an alarm, followed by this message.]

EMERGENCY. EMERGENCY. This is an emergency.

The following occupants of the Luceti enclosure must report to the teleporters in twenty minutes. You are required as reinforcements in Region 13. Bring all necessary armaments with you. You will be teleported directly into combat.

Anyone who fails to comply will be forcibly escorted to the teleporters by droids.

This is not a drill. I repeat: this is not a drill. You have twenty minutes.

[The message repeats twice more, the alarm continuing until the twenty minutes has elapsed. No questions will be answered.]

[ Red waits at the teleporters to see the few people that he wants to, and when he spots Ash coming along, he moves from where he stands to go to him. ]

Ash! [ He stops in front of him, his own pikachu on his shoulder. ] Are you okay? I gave Silver my bag with some food in it, and bandages. It should help a little bit.

[ Are you okay?-- The one question he didn't know if was cruel or unfair to ask, but still it slips in when he speaks all the same. ]

[ Hearing his name Ash turns and sees Red and his Pikachu come up to him and his own Pikachu. He didn't hear Red's name on the list so he must just be there to see them and the others off. ]

Hey, Red. Yeah... I'm okay.

[ He's not as okay as he says. He's nervous, a little scared, and doesn't want to be a part of this. But he knows he has to so the best thing he can do right now is just keep moving forward as long as he can with a small smile. Even if it's just until the other side of the teleporters. ] Thanks. I'll try 'n find Silver if anythin' happens.

[ His own lips press together. Of course Ash isn't okay - and the small smile doesn't fool him, though Red suspects it's as much (or more) for himself than it is for him. ]

You're not going to be alone. Stick together with everyone - and even if you get separated, you've got your pokémon. You can do it. [ He puts his hands onto Ash's arms, staring at him in the face. ] Lugia's going to be there as well, and I've got friends too - my friend Saori got drafted as well, and her friend too. I'll tell them to help you out, okay?

Yeah, I know. No matter what I'll be with my friends. [ Even if it's just his Pokemon he's with he's with someone and that's all that matters. ] And I'll do what I can t' protect 'em. Gold gave me somethin' to help with that.

[ Ash stares back as he tries to hold the small smile. ] Okay. I'll find Lugia so we can protect each other and if any of your friends come t' help I'll thank 'em.

... Anyone with any sense is afraid of fighting; that's what a friend told me. And you've got a good team on your side. You can throw the enemy off with thunder waves and smokescreens.

[ He lets go of Ash, quickly looking at his Pikachu. ]

Can Pikachu handle more electricity okay? My Pikachu can share some of his if it won't make him woozy.

[ Any little helps... ]

Y-Yeah ...

[ He figures that it's not a good idea to mention that Pikachu does not know Thunder Wave nor does Charizard know Smokescreen. ] We'll all do our best.

[ A small nod as his smile grows just a little. ]

Of course he's can. Pikachu's handled a lot of electricity before.

[ Pikachu nods his head approvingly. Super powerful thunderbolt to take down legendaries? can we get a yes? ]

[ C'mon boy you ain't gotta use them in your line-up but your charizard doesn't know how to cough up a smokeball??? Can't even tag emotionally here I am sorry.

But at least Red can definitely help with that! Though, he does pause. ]

Um, should they do it on the ground?

[ It's not actually something Red's done before with pokémon on their shoulders! And he doesn't want Ash to get comically electrocuted! ]

[ Nope. Maybe make smoke from his flamethrower but smokescreen? never had it. ]

Oh! Yeah, they should.

[ With that Pikachu hops down from Ash's shoulder as Ash takes a few steps back in order to give the Pikachus room. ]

[ Red copies Ash by taking a step back, and Pikachu jumps on down onto the ground to meet the other. He walks over, a look of sympathy on his face with ears slightly bent, and instead of just giving the shock he embraces him. And in the next instant, hhe supplies the electricity from his own body into over.

It's slow at first, but then more is supplied when Pikachu thinks that the other can handle it. When he's finally done and takes a step back, it's a bit of a woozy step, but he catches his own balance easily. He chirps a wish of good luck to Pikachu in their language. ]

[ Pikachu gives the other one a small look of reassurance. He'll be okay as long as Ash okay. He started to absorb the electricity that he is given. Given that he's done the same with Thundurus' electricity it was far easier and more comfortable being from the same species.

Pikachu makes sure that the other Pikachu is over before he chirps a thank you back in their language. His cheeks spark a little as well to show that he's more energized than before and that the transfer of electricity worked. ]

[ Pikachu hasn't shared energy with another of his kind for a long time, and the last creature he did share electricity with that wasn't a god of storms? Was the team voltorb. There's been some unsafe experiences with that.

But Pikachu smiles a little to see the result of the share, and he goes back to Red to pick him up into his arms. With the deed done Red isn't sure what to say. He puts on a smile nonetheless, and does speak. ]

...When you get back, we can check out the mountains... and we'll take some cake to the beach to share with Lugia, and all our pokémon. And we'll have a rematch too!

[ Pikachu turns back and climbs back up onto Ash's shoulder. Meanwhile Ash does the same; he puts on a smile and nods his head. ]

Yeah! The mountains sound great and I'm sure Lugia would love t' have some cake! And I can't wait 'til we have a rematch!

Right! It's a promise!

[ He holds out his hand, positioned like for a fist bump. yea bro. ]

A promise!

[ fist bump! we'll make sure not to break this promise bro! ]
