[Voice, locked to residents] --EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--
[At 2:15AM, the journals suddenly blare out an alarm, followed by this message.]
EMERGENCY. EMERGENCY. This is an emergency.
The following occupants of the Luceti enclosure must report to the teleporters in twenty minutes. You are required as reinforcements in Region 13. Bring all necessary armaments with you. You will be teleported directly into combat.
Anyone who fails to comply will be forcibly escorted to the teleporters by droids.
This is not a drill. I repeat: this is not a drill. You have twenty minutes.
[The message repeats twice more, the alarm continuing until the twenty minutes has elapsed. No questions will be answered.]

[House 16]
This almost makes it feel like we're just going on another field trip...
[It's depressing how far away the days felt since then were actual teenagers going on actual high school field trips.]
[House 16]
We need ta split up the medical supplies too. And listen -- [she lowered her voice a little] this is Jean's first draft an' it's gonna be bad. No warning like this? If things are bad out there -- she'll be a sittin' duck. You need to watch her back an' teleport her to someplace safe until she can get her head straight. Got it?
[House 16]
Jean, too? Oh man... [He looks off in worry for a moment, but then he refocuses himself.] Got it. I'll do my best to take care of her, okay? That duck won't be sitting on my watch! [They're brave words or attempts at such, while he's actually quite afraid. There's no Wolverine or Storm to keep watch over them this time.]
[House 16]
[She glanced up at him, her gaze set and determined.] I promise.
[And she very rarely promised. But Rogue wouldn't accept anything else.]
[House 16]
But hearing that from Rogue helps a lot, all the same. He looks towards her with a serious expression at first, but then a slight, sincere smile breaks through the fuzz at her, promising. He feels at least a little braver.]
Thanks, sis. [It's a word he's used less often than he once wanted to, but that's only because of what happened before he came to Luceti. Things had changed a lot since then, but even if he hasn't fully come to terms with what happened to Mystique, he still knows that in the end, Rogue is his sister. She's someone he can count on.]
I think... that I really am gonna do my best. And I'll find time to keep an eye on you, too.
[House 16]
I know you will. Now c'mon. We gotta make time. I don't want any droids draggin' us to the party.

[Saying that gives another light boost of confidence. And thus, he bamfs off to start getting the tunnel trips set up...]
