[Voice, locked to residents] --EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--
[At 2:15AM, the journals suddenly blare out an alarm, followed by this message.]
EMERGENCY. EMERGENCY. This is an emergency.
The following occupants of the Luceti enclosure must report to the teleporters in twenty minutes. You are required as reinforcements in Region 13. Bring all necessary armaments with you. You will be teleported directly into combat.
Anyone who fails to comply will be forcibly escorted to the teleporters by droids.
This is not a drill. I repeat: this is not a drill. You have twenty minutes.
[The message repeats twice more, the alarm continuing until the twenty minutes has elapsed. No questions will be answered.]

I am. I owe those Third Party creeps a beating and I've been preparing in the Battle Dome.

[Although she's not someone who's eager to harm others, she can accept that it's best to kill members of the Third Party when faced by them.]
I know some people wanted to try reasoning with them...but I got badly hurt by them once. I'm not going to make the mistake of trying to talk things out.

There are some people you can't talk reasons out. [Granted, he has really killed only one person his whole life, and for a good reason.] Sometimes our action has to be ugly too. It's all about staying alive, so let's make sure we get back in one piece.

She's more accepting of the idea of killing the Third Party. She knows they'd kill her without hesitation and that they'd even kill people who were powerless to protect themselves. Her friend Quinn comes to mind, as do some of the kids she's seen around the enclosure.]
Yeah... They're the sorts who'd even hurt small children. They'll probably try to kill us on sight. Make sure you aim for their wings.

Thanks. I'm a lot stronger than I look, but you're probably still stronger than me. I'll let you know if I need a hand.

Hopefully we'll be able to deal with the problem pretty quickly in any case.
[Bulla looks thoughtful.]
I think it must be a real emergency if we got woken up with such little notice, though. I haven't been drafted before, but the people who were drafted for the last one got like...two days notice as opposed to twenty minutes.

[Seventeen tilts his head slightly to one side. He reaches to one ear rubbing his golden hoop earring.] Much as I hate this last minute demand, some of us are curious about this. It's something they couldn't handle, and that says enough.

[That's one thing that's keeping her from being completely freaked out about the Draft. Months of practice, including fighting with full power suppression.]
If they're getting overwhelmed...um. Yikes.

Still, it's pretty impressive. Maybe I should take a swing on it after this draft.

You mean aside from a girl with excellent fashion sense? Half-saiyan.
no subject
The better half. [Well, there's an honest complement to make up at least. Besides, looking at Vegeta and well... he hasn't met Goku yet, but he bet's its still the same.]

[The only outward physical characteristic she's inherited from her father is shortness. Bulla's barely over 5'0", whereas her mother is 5'6".]
I got the saiyan powers. I never really made much use of them until coming here...but they made gym class at school super-easy.
