[At 2:15AM, the journals suddenly blare out an alarm, followed by this message.]

EMERGENCY. EMERGENCY. This is an emergency.

The following occupants of the Luceti enclosure must report to the teleporters in twenty minutes. You are required as reinforcements in Region 13. Bring all necessary armaments with you. You will be teleported directly into combat.

Anyone who fails to comply will be forcibly escorted to the teleporters by droids.

This is not a drill. I repeat: this is not a drill. You have twenty minutes.

[The message repeats twice more, the alarm continuing until the twenty minutes has elapsed. No questions will be answered.]

[Likewise, Tear hadn't seen the need to check up on Jade when she knew she could trust him to be prepared and help the others in the short time they had. Though she wouldn't deny that there was a sense of relief knowing he would also be there, and seeing him pass as she checked her small supply of gels again brought more calm to the already urgent atmosphere.

She answers his greeting with a curt nod and soft 'Colonel,' but after another moment's pause—] Should I distribute these now, or trust the others will manage without them from the start?

[He pauses for a moment, looking over her supply and thinking.]

It sounds like we'll be heading directly to the battlefield, and we have no guarantee that we'll arrive near each other. You should distribute them now. [A swift and decisive answer.]

Very well. [And with that confirmation she hands over a few of them to the colonel, having already separated them anyway.]

Even if we don't arrive near each other, I'll assume it's a given that we stick close or in communication as much as we are able to. [The others hadn't experienced any combat in Luceti, or at least in that they remember, and then there was Ion...]

Thank you. [He collects them in a small satchel he has.]

We do have an uncanny knack of finding each other, don't we? We should make sure to bring our journals. Ideally, if they work on this battlefield, then it should be easy to stay in contact. Otherwise, we should each try to at least find either Luke or Asch. Their fonic link can be very valuable in terms of communication.

Or perhaps we have learned to work with and read one another well enough. [All their differences aside, but she nods in affirmation otherwise before pausing.]

And Freyjadour will be there, too. [A lot of people she knew aside from themselves really, making it that many more people to look after. But this was her way of letting Jade know where she would otherwise likely be, if not with them.]

Have you had the chance to eat anything? I could bring something for that if you not.
