[At 2:15AM, the journals suddenly blare out an alarm, followed by this message.]

EMERGENCY. EMERGENCY. This is an emergency.

The following occupants of the Luceti enclosure must report to the teleporters in twenty minutes. You are required as reinforcements in Region 13. Bring all necessary armaments with you. You will be teleported directly into combat.

Anyone who fails to comply will be forcibly escorted to the teleporters by droids.

This is not a drill. I repeat: this is not a drill. You have twenty minutes.

[The message repeats twice more, the alarm continuing until the twenty minutes has elapsed. No questions will be answered.]

W-well... They're not always like this. Usually they give us some advance warning. Like even a day or two! Not twenty minutes. And they said it's en emergency, too. So... [He gulps.] This might be bad.

Jeeze. [She sighs deeply, not at ALL liking how this is sounding.]

Are Rogue and Mia up? [She assumes Rogue is, at least; Rogue is extremely on-the-ball. ] We should probably try and stay together, once we're there. Including Remy and Wanda, if we can catch them, and they're willing.

They should be! I already talked to Rogue. And... that's a good idea. [Especially since Rogue asked him to keep an eye on Jean.] I bet we'll get a lot more done if we stick together.

We can at least watch each other's backs. Stay safe. [She nods along in somber agreement.] I don't know what this fight is for, or anything about it. Staying safe should be our number one priority.

[Speaking of priorities.]

Do these people usually supply us with supplies-- food, water, shelter, any of that?

Sometimes. But with how sudden this one is, it's hard to say... Rogue had me grab one of those backpacks of supplies we have in the closet. I bet we'll all need to grab one.

A good idea. I'll grab one, as well. Then we should probably get started out. [Sighing again, she tries to muster up a smile for Kurt.]

I'm sure it'll all be fine, in the end. It's just better safe than sorry.

[It's odd. In one way, he's worried for Jean, since she's one of the freshest X-faces in Luceti, and she's never been on a draft before. But she's still able to have that effect of reassuring him and helping him feel like he can really help out as part of the team.]

Maybe you're right. I bet it will be fine in the end. After all, we're the X-Men!

Exactly. And we take care of one another. [She'll go ahead and go in for the hug, if Kurt's having it. Just a quick, one armed side hug, thing.]

Right. I'm going to go grab one of the supply backpacks, and then we'll be on our way. I'll meet you by the door.

Got it. I... I'll see you there! [He aims for some degree of cool and reassuring.]
