[Voice, locked to residents] --EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--
[At 2:15AM, the journals suddenly blare out an alarm, followed by this message.]
EMERGENCY. EMERGENCY. This is an emergency.
The following occupants of the Luceti enclosure must report to the teleporters in twenty minutes. You are required as reinforcements in Region 13. Bring all necessary armaments with you. You will be teleported directly into combat.
Anyone who fails to comply will be forcibly escorted to the teleporters by droids.
This is not a drill. I repeat: this is not a drill. You have twenty minutes.
[The message repeats twice more, the alarm continuing until the twenty minutes has elapsed. No questions will be answered.]

Re: [Action]
Then I will fight them off.
['I am in control of my emotions, I am in control of my emotions.' Spock had to remind himself over and over that he would not lose it here.]
Do not leave me behind... please.
Re: [Action]
I don't really have a choice, do I Spock?
[ He sighed, squeezing his hand again and bending down to kiss him softly. ]
I'll come back in one piece. You know me, I always seem to come out with the big end of the stick in these things somehow.
Re: [Action]
Relying on luck is entirely illogical Ashayam.
[The Vulcan stands, pulling his mate into a tight embrace.] Do not die.
Re: [Action]
Please, like I would go and do a thing like that.
[ He hugged him back, pressing his face into his shoulder and sighing. He hated doing this, having to do this, but they had little choice in the matter. ]
You and B keep out of trouble?
Re: [Action]
You seem to forget that you have died once before. I do not wish to witness that again.
[Seriously Jim, you die, you're going to make them both suffer. Take into account the bond that they share.]
Re: [Action]
Nearly died. As I recall, I came back from that.
[ He knew it, he could feel it between them, and he clung to it as a life line now. He didn't move from Spock's arms. Not yet. He had time still. He really wasn't one to be to mushy about things, but the bond was still new and thrumming and he could feel everything and god... ]
Re: [Action]
The Vulcan regretfully pulls away from the embrace, and reaches over to the nightstand to retrieve something. He hands over his own phaser.]
Take this. Having two with you may prove useful. And since this is a 'loan', I require that you return it to me personally.
Re: [Action]
[ He took it, checking the settings and slipping it into a holster. He hoped it would last however long they would be out there. The phasers, after all, did not have a limitless supply of energy. ]
Hmm, well, you know me. I always bring back what's been borrowed.
Re: [Action]
[That said, the Vulcan grabs Jim's face, and kisses him within an inch of his life.]
Re: [Action]
[ He lets him and kisses back, doing his best to send reassurance through the bond they shared, hoping not much of his worry or anxiety trickled through. ]
I keep my promises, Spock.
Re: [Action]
[The Vulcan is reluctant to let go, but he does... He knows if he doesn't, then they will come for him, and as much as he wants to say he could fight them off, he knows he can't.]
Wani ro yani ra aisha...
Re: [Action]
I'm not quite that versed in Vulcan yet, Spock.
[ He shook his head and headed for the door. If he made it out in time, their house wouldn't be wrecked by bots. ]
