[Voice, locked to residents] --EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--EMERGENCY--

[At 2:15AM, the journals suddenly blare out an alarm, followed by this message.]

EMERGENCY. EMERGENCY. This is an emergency.

The following occupants of the Luceti enclosure must report to the teleporters in twenty minutes. You are required as reinforcements in Region 13. Bring all necessary armaments with you. You will be teleported directly into combat.

Anyone who fails to comply will be forcibly escorted to the teleporters by droids.

This is not a drill. I repeat: this is not a drill. You have twenty minutes.

[The message repeats twice more, the alarm continuing until the twenty minutes has elapsed. No questions will be answered.]

That would be the wisest course of action. However, depending on the conditions, we may not have a choice in the matter. [For Jade, it's almost like a mix of the two motivations.] Considering the apparent state of emergency, we can't rule out the possibilities of arriving in a scattered manner, and close to the battlefield, which may make it difficult to properly organize ourselves in time. And, perhaps even impossible to find a safe area for the noncombatants.

There's no such thing as a safe area on a battlefield, only areas that are less dangerous.

[Gai knows this all too well.]

In that case, we round them up and keep them behind our lines. That should at least keep them out of the worst of the fighting unless we get flanked.

Fair enough.

That seems to be the most sound course of action. Keeping them as centrally positioned as possible could be ideal, so that fighters on all sides could cover them in a sense. [It's difficult to think of more specific strategies, when they have virtually no knowledge of the actual battlefield.]
