[There's a click and then a recorded conversation: one voice is obviously Jacob's. The other is an unknown man's, surprisingly smooth and low but very, very sharp and cold. The voices are far away, but audible.]

I can definitely understand hiding from John and the Malnosso. As for why he'd hide from you and your creator, I wouldn't know. But why hide from Luceti's residents? We wouldn't cause him any harm. He's on our side.

Well, wondering if he deserved to die and actually trying to harm him are two different things. We don't even know for sure if he did deserve it. Either way, he's been on our side for a long time now and the 'score's been settled. The only people to hide from at this point are the people who don't care who they kill, as long as blood's flowing.

He is physically unharmed. Observation reveals that his memory now only begins from his arrival in Luceti.
