You are all terribly distrustful. That's good.

So that you're working with an informed opinion however, this was the work of neither myself nor the Organization.

Interesting. I'd assumed the desert ruins played a large part in the ritual. There must be some requirement, though, otherwise all the residents here could permanently kill someone by ripping their organs out.

Hm... During the time the shopkeepers went 'missing', the desert ruins had already been exposed. He wouldn't even have had to go through the barrier. Still, it would've been a lot of trouble. He must've gotten something interesting in return for toying with that ritual. Either Tyr and the shopkeepers knew too much and needed to go, or like a true scientist, he was experimenting for the sake of information.

Monster? No. I've met too many people like him to be too surprised at his behavior. Sacrifices have to be made for the greater good and all that.

Unless you're saying he had a more noble reason.

The "mercy killing", as you referred to it?

He couldn't just hand that job over to the Third Party?

Oh really? What would they have done to Tyr, other than removing his organs and ending his life permanently?
fortunefail: (Not listening!~)

Then you don't know me as well as you thought.

[With that, the journal is closed. It's pretty obvious 'Rem' has a fairly high opinion of John and there's nothing more to gain from this conversation.]
