You are all terribly distrustful. That's good.

So that you're working with an informed opinion however, this was the work of neither myself nor the Organization.

Who are you supposed to be, anyway?

...The third party?

[identity profile] nextgen-hokage.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 07:32 am (UTC)(link)
Does that mean that the letter's a fake?

[identity profile] 38thdefender.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 07:36 am (UTC)(link)
Do you think the gate will really appear? I had assumed the letters themselves were an experiment.

[identity profile] preciousgeneral.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 07:49 am (UTC)(link)
Well, that rules out one choice. [Though looking at the other responses, seems it isn't the Third Party like she had thought also.]

If you can't share who you think did it, can you share if you feel that what it says has any validity at all?

[identity profile] cruxofapotter.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 08:03 am (UTC)(link)
So there's no chance of going back at all?

Is there another group you know of that wants test subjects?

I don't suppose the validity of the letter would make a difference to residents like myself either way, would it?
fortunefail: (Watching you sleep)

[Hm... The other conversations are interesting, but...]

So Tyr was still classified after all. Whoever sent the letter, they were quite effective in raising the topic after all this time.

Now that I have the chance, I need to ask. Tyr died by John's hand, I'm assuming in his little hiding place. Logically, that'd mean Tyr was revived, correct?

[identity profile] ahappylie.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 08:38 am (UTC)(link)
I've heard rumor that things in the letter are true - and that you now know of it. Might I ask you a question?

Is the rumor that our being here is in fact having dire consequences on our home worlds, true?

[identity profile] controlroute.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 09:04 am (UTC)(link)
If you were in our position, would you take the offer?

[identity profile] vulcanblazer.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 09:17 am (UTC)(link)
Just when I thought I had somethin' pegged, things change and get worse. ...About normal for here, I'd say.

So it's more to do with Shifting, huh? Do you think this other group might simply be testing their abilities on us? ...You know, if a portal actually does appear.

Man, I hate it when Guy's right sometimes...

[identity profile] unseenspy.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 10:11 am (UTC)(link)
The decision was tempting enough, but confirming some parts of the letter makes the choice even more difficult. Considering all the different worlds we come from, is it really possible for a single portal to send us back to our correct worlds and times? I don't trust it either.

By "breaking apart," do they mean losing our sanity?

What would happen if the Malnosso became panicked?

[Because Jay, for one, would not mind provoking them...]

[identity profile] stilldontgotit.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 02:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Looks like some people have talked about the consequences.

Now here's a question. How can it be true, when people come and go all the time? Sometimes from different times, and nothing's changed.

[identity profile] aphephobic.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 03:04 pm (UTC)(link)
Invaders trying to get us out of here is becoming quite a trend. For you and your people, what is Luceti's political significance?

Why does everything happen when I'm asleeeeep XD

[identity profile] loyalotter.livejournal.com 2009-11-24 03:29 pm (UTC)(link)
And I hadn't even put up my opinion yet, either. [Talk about mistrustful]

But if it were as easy as this letter claims it is, someone- [Read: Hermione herself] -would have figured out how to do it already, wouldn't you think? Or at least the discovery would have been known. I don't know anyone who could keep a secret that well. [Liar.]

Good evening, madam. Nice to hear from you again.

It's interesting to see how quick they are to believe you after being so convinced this was the doing of the Organization. They take your self-given title for what it is and don't linger on whether you may have conflicts of interest.

What will become of those who have died in their world should they choose to take this offer?

Greetings, Ms. Rem. I was wondering if anything would be said about this. It does not seem something that the Organization would set up, simply due to the mention of Tyr.

... If anything, it seemed like a trap, to draw his name out into the open after so long. Especially since speaking of him openly was not something that had been verified, but it seems my concerns of everyone talking too openly has already come to pass.

Do you know how much about this letter is true?

[identity profile] goldenpathredux.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 10:20 am (UTC)(link)
This is not the first offer that came to us where it was obvious the vast majority of readers would not accept it.

[identity profile] silvergeneral.livejournal.com 2009-11-25 04:00 pm (UTC)(link)
The letter mentions Tyr to some significance. I don't know enough to understand why--mightn't you enlighten me?

[identity profile] alwaysmoony.livejournal.com 2009-11-26 03:36 am (UTC)(link)
Do you know how long it would take for the damage to begin? How long before the inhabitants of our worlds would notice?

...And if our lack of presence is damaging our worlds, is our presence here damaging Luceti? It's no less natural.
