You are all terribly distrustful. That's good.

So that you're working with an informed opinion however, this was the work of neither myself nor the Organization.

I'm curious as to why you wouldn't even entertain the possibility.

A fair point. Though desperation does do things to a person.

Perhaps the "trap" isn't intended for us, but rather, in the words that would come of it, which could have very well led to forbidden discussion about John and Jacob, considering the source from which we first learned of Tyr and his accomplishments. If the Malnosso panic, we could very well end up with another May incident on our hands.

Of course, you probably would have more knowledge of those who would have motive for such a thing than I. Another Rogue? A group, that we may eventually come into contact with, since that seems to be how these things go?

That makes sense. And I suppose speculating about it won't really do us any good in here, at this juncture; not until the end of the week comes and we see the 'results' of these letters.

How high are the risks of Shift interference? There doesn't seem to be what passes for a 'normal' experiment going on, likely in lieu of this development, but there wasn't one last month either, unless you count the Hunter's appearance.

Around the time I first arrived, nearly two years ago. There seemed to be quite a few incidents occurring regularly. There was even one experiment that spanned nearly a month.

Desperation?

The experiments seemed to thin out after the incident in which the barrier fell, in any case, and they stopped issuing their little "warnings". I suppose they learned their lesson.

What was it that changed? Jacob only hinted at it, but he didn't like speaking too much of his employers.

It isn't often that we hear of political tales in the outside world. It makes me wonder as to whether or not another 'change of hands' could be in the works.

One having to do with the general 'unrest' at the lack of results, I gather? I have to wonder what becomes of those displaced from power.
