Approximately three hours ago, the experimental enclosure known as Kin’cora, located in Region Six, was attacked by a cultist army led by the entity known as The General. His forces breached the barrier and began their invasion. Malnosso Security Forces responded in turn and decimated his forces. Just under half of the enclosure's population was killed or taken for sacrifice before the situation was resolved.

By order of the Commandant, the enclosure designated as Luceti has been approved as a temporary refuge for displaced subjects of the Kin’cora experiment. In approximately six hours, subjects will begin to arrive. They will remain there until such a time as they can be moved to more permanent accommodations. Note, the Kin’cora journal system will be deactivated while within the Luceti enclosure.

Cultist activity continues to be high in Region Six. Expect additional supplies to be limited until situation is resolved. Emergency rations will be routed to the enclosure as they become available. Subjects are urged to use current provisions wisely and to cooperate with displaced refugees. For safety purposes the Shift limiting superhuman abilities will be reduced to ten percent. No further details will be made available at this time.

Does anybody else besides my brother, Fenimore, and me know how to butcher meat? If we're going to be doing a lot of hunting, then we'll need people who can dress and prepare it properly. Even though Luceti has plenty of natural resources, we don't know how long this is going to last, so it's very important to take care that the hunting doesn't put too much of a toll on the land.

There should only be a few people hunting a certain amount of meet necessary to supplement the village's supplies every day. And we need some sort of system to make sure that when the meat and fish get distributed, no one has more than their fair share so that everyone has enough.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I have dressed and prepared meat before, but nothing larger than a rabbit. That may not be of much help to you, Katara.

Someone would have to be placed in charge of preparing ration sizes of the caught meat. The fairest way to ensure supplies are distributed equally would be by creating a register of the refugees and giving supplies according to that list.

[Just more and more tasks that people would have to be responsible for...]

[The question actually makes Pepper grin a bit.] Extensive experience. If it helps, I've been Tony Stark's personal assistant for over ten years, and I was also CEO of his company for a brief period.

[Which only makes sense if this person has met Tony, but it's worth saying.] I don't need a computer, although having one would make things much easier.

...Ah yes, Mr. Stark. [A personal assistant? No wonder the man could afford to be as ... eccentric as he was.]

If a computer would increase our efficiency in this matter, I would prefer we use one; we do not know how many refugees we are expecting, and quick processing would be ideal.

I have a laptop that may be used for this, if there is a need. [He'd never broadcasted its existence before, but it wasn't as if he kept anything of importance on it; the fact that it was a 'gift' from Bil left just enough suspicion not to use it for anything sensitive.]

That and we need to talk to whoever is organizing the hunts. Everyone here has so much incredible power and skill - it won't be hard for just one person to kill a deer. But it will be hard for just one person to haul it back to the village. They need to make sure they're going out in hunting parties so that the whole thing isn't a waste.

Indeed. Can you handle any of the organizing with the hunting parties, or will someone need to be assigned the task?

I can do it if I know who's willing to go out to hunt. [She needs a list of people to boss, and then, oh boy, can she boss.] I bet Sokka would be able to help too, if he's not doing something else.

Major Sharpe said he'd help with the distributing duties, and he can help dress meat too, which would be great. I saw you talking with someone about record-keeping, so that's good. I wonder if we can get some volunteers from the other enclosure to help?

While they're here, they need to feel like it's their home too. If they have something to do... [Then it will be less like a prison and more like a community. And Katara is all about a shared work-load.]

And I've spent time as a quartermaster, should you need someone to keep an eye on the distribution.

That would be good. [They are probably going to need someone intimidating to help hand things out. She is plenty intimidating with six feet of water behind her. Not so much without.]

It looks like Albert is talking with someone about recording keeping, maybe you can be in charge of distribution and she can be in charge of making sure everyone's had enough?

[From her experience, everyone was always eager to kill things and prove how strong or powerful they were. They didn't consider how much work it took to make the things they killed useful.]

This is definitely going to be more than a one person job, and I think we could really use the help, but I'll understand if you're needed somewhere else.

We're trying to work on rations, but - we don't have any experience with this. What do we give out first, and things like that, to make sure the vegetables don't all spoil but so people will have enough later.
